About

Mohit (MAX) Bhanabhai

I occupy my intellect in books from Harvard Business School whilst concurrently challenging established paradigms in the corporate world. Inherently, I am an advocate of the ‘Networked Enterprise’ wherein chefs come together to make a pie that doesn’t exist without collaboration (and subsequently share in revenues). In academia, I took various sabbaticals and traversed paths across financial planning, economics and change management background – specializing in the way the efficient information hypothesis synthesis and disseminates change. This is at the nexus of thealphaswarmer value proposition.   At its core, thealphaswarmer movement aims to deploy the tenets of self-organization, through collective intelligence, by mobilizing the power of aggregate communities, in social, business, knowledge and political domains – to foster transparency and knowledge management through unified communications, social leverage and engagement within, across and beyond community social systems.
My primary books of choice are from the Harvard Business School Press and the Don Tapscott (CEO New Paradigm) tapestry. “Bioteams” – by Ken Thompson ‘The Ten Faces of Innovation’ – by Tom Kelley from IDEO ‘The Tipping Point’ by Malcolm Gladwell ‘Blink: The Power of thinking without thinking’ by Malcolm Gladwell ‘Seeing Whats Next: Using the Theories of Innovation to Predict Industry Change’ – Harvard Business Press – by Clayton M. Christensen, Scott D Anthony and Erik A Roth ‘The Innovators Dillema’ – Harvard Business Press – by Clayton M Christensen ”The Digital Economy’ by Don Tapscott. ‘The Naked Corporation’ by Don Tapscott. ‘Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything’ by Don Tapscott. ’10 Rules for Strategic Innovators: From Idea to Execution’ by Vijay Govindarajan & Chris Trimble. There is a recent addition which is an extremely groundbreaking book which i believe will shape disruptive innovations in marketing and business strategy. It is… “Communities Dominate Brands” by Tomi T Ahonen Go to their blog www.communitiesdominateblogs.com Richard Bransons auto-biography “Loosing My Virginity” The Biology of Business (essays written by researches on adaptive complexity systems) The StarFish and the Spider: The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organisations by Ori Brafman and Rod A. Beckstrom Sway: The Irresistible Pull of Irrational Behavior by Ori Brafman. There are others, however, the paradigms in these texts form the nexus of thealphaswarmer blog

I am also an author on www.bioteams.com and collaborate with Ken Thompson in writing about Bioteams. I am available for consulting acrosss innovation, team leadership development, strategic experiments and change management.
